It was a big day in Boston today – President Barack Obama made a quick visit to Massachusetts to celebrate the opening of the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate. The institute is located on the UMass Boston campus, right next to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library. President Obama and Joe Biden were among the distinguished guests honoring the late Kennedy’s legacy who passed away in 2009. Michael had the pleasure of meeting and photographing Senator Ted Kennedy back in 1995 right at the beginning of his photography career. See the photo and thank you letter Michael received from the Senator below!

It’s amazing what can be accomplished when we all work together! Naturally, we felt so proud and inspired after completing this project for Medicine Wheel Productions. Just last year the Edward Ingersoll Browne Fund awarded Medicine Wheel with a grant to install an accessible, paved path connecting the Boston National Historical Park. We couldn’t be happier to help Medicine Wheel promote their goal of having 600 engraved bricks donated to line the path. We tried our best to capture the essence of the project and help spread awareness to have bricks donated. Check out our finished video below and see what a great time we had!
Here is the final video we produced!
We were lucky it was such a beautiful day!

Renaissance artists made paintings of her, Da Vinci and Michaelangelo evoked her from blocks of Carrara marble, photographers of the last 2 centuries captured her on film, musicians composed melodies about her, her beauty and form shown on the silver screen have dazzled audiences from around the world since the first movie reel was set in motion. We were honored to be invited as guests to the Mayo Bowl last night, a fundraiser held by New England Patriot Jerod Mayo to raise money for the Boston Medical Center. It was such a great time hanging out with the players, as we laughed, ate, and of course took photos, all for a great cause!

The smell of cookies and chocolate have been permeating our studio this week… lucky for us, all the baking was done just in time for Valentine’s Day! So sit back, relax, and indulge yourself with some of our favorite pieces of eye candy. (calorie-free, of course!)
Food stylist, Monica Mariano from Ennis, fills heart-shaped sugar cookies with jammy goodness.
Monica perfects the chocolate ganache tart… no detail too small.
Monica delicately coats the chocolate tart with cocoa powder.
It took all of our willpower combined not to dive into these delectable confections before shooting… but, we got the shots! Enjoy.
