The Catered Affair Full Video

Our main goal with this overview video was to show how dedicated the Catered Affair employees are, as well as their talents behind the scenes, where they cook delectable food and organize events that you wouldn’t want to miss. They really love what they do, and it shows! This video gives a more in-depth look into the behind-the-scenes of a catering company that you typically don’t see.

COMEDY VIDEO SHOOT IN BOSTON

Our studio had the pleasure of producing a comedy video shoot with two of Boston’s top comedians, Lenny Clarke and Tony V!

This video shoot was especially meaningful as it was for a great cause for Boston Medical Center & Greater Boston Food Bank’s Stop Hunger Now Campaign. We made sure to use the best equipment possible and top of the line audio equipment to capture the important message of the video.

Our Boston video production crew captured shots and audio from all angles on Castle Island in the Sullivan’s parking lot to make sure no clever line was missed. Lenny Clarke and Tony V stuck to the comedy script, but they also threw in a few “wicked” funny improvised lines.

Our crew moved to our second video shoot location of the day after a quick lunch at Sullivan’s. We packed up the production van and set up in between L Street Tavern and Sal’s for the next location of the video shoot. Our full service production team made sure to get the proper permits to close the road down for this comedy video shoot.

Boston comedian Lenny Clarke was cracking everyone up on set- including himself!

Boston stand up comedian Tony V did an excellent job on set. He delivered all of his lines perfectly and added in a few funny one liners as well!

Our team also got some great behind the scenes images with the comedy video’s two main stars! Here is our Executive Producer with both Lenny Clarke and Tony V.

Our video Director also got a quick bts shot with the two comedians.

Both of our in house studio producers also got shots with both Lenny and Tony on set.

This video comedy shoot was a huge success all thanks to our talented video production crew, hilarious comedy script writers, and top notch comedians.

PINE STREET INN VIDEO

2019 marks the 50th anniversary of the Pine Street Inn, one of Boston’s largest providers of shelter and support for the city’s homeless population. In recognition of this milestone, and to give back to the community, we here at Indresano Studios have embarked on a documentary project with the Pine Street Inn in an effort to highlight the important work the Pine Street Inn provides to the city of Boston. The goals of this project are to give voice to Boston’s homeless community and to spread awareness of the resources still needed to support and re-house the city’s homeless population.

A moving quote from a Pine Street Inn Guest

The team’s first objective was to collect stories. The most effective way to humanize the issue of homelessness is to spread personal stories, experiences, and words.

The Indresano Studios team strategizes how to best capture these personal stories

Our team had the opportunity to interview three homeless men, John, Ray, and Jamil, on the first day of the shoot. In the interviews, our team learned details about each man’s past that led them to homelessness, their struggles to find housing and their hopes and goals for the future.

Our media pipeline allows us to monitor and rate clips as they are happening
The Indresano Team got the chance to interview a former Pine Street Inn guest in his new home

The team’s 4th interview of the day was with Nelson, the director of the Pine Street Inn’s Outreach Program. The Pine Street Inn has multiple vans traveling Boston 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to help bring the Pine Street Inn’s support to people in need, rather than leaving them on their own to secure transportation to the shelter.

Our team also had the distinct privilege of accompanying the outreach team on a particularly snowy night. Members of the outreach team supplied blankets, hot food, and other forms of support to members of Boston’s homeless community.

As this project progresses, we hope to bring further updates to our readers. For now, it’s back to work on the Pine Street Inn’s 50th anniversary video!

FOOD VIDEO SHOOT WITH INDRESANO STUDIOS

We were cooking up a storm in the studio at our most recent food video shoot! Food stylist, Sunny Ricks, was hard at work making sure all the ingredients were video ready.

For over 25 years, we have built a name for ourselves creating artful, award-winning work with a passion that borders on the fanatical

A job such as this needs plenty of space for the stylists to perfect their creations. They were able to make themselves right at home here at Indresano Studios.

Of course, the food stylists needed all of their tools of the trade for this video shoot.

They weren’t alone in being prepared, prop stylist, Verne Cordova, started his holiday meal prep early this year for this video project.

It wasn’t only the food that was looking good in this video shoot. We made sure we had plenty of wardrobe options in the studio.

After this video shoot, prop stylist, Verne Cordova, slipped into a pretty serious food coma. Guess he played with his food too much!

ON LOCATION VIDEO SHOOT

Our most recent video shoot took place in the great outdoors!

Maggie Model Brian Hanley was one of the most polished landscapers we’ve ever seen 😉 He was also a good sport wearing a flannel shirt on a 90 degree summer day.

ON LOCATION FOR A NIKE WORKOUT VIDEO

Walking into the gym, we were greeted with huge, muscular men and women who helped us lift up our heavy video equipment onto their loading dock and into the gym. They made it look so easy! Tossing our bags and picking up our heavy cases as if they were as light as a feather.

Sony F5 Video Camera

After meeting Jeff, we set up to do some heavy lifting. We get tired from lifting our Sony F5 camera all day which weighs about 12 pounds, so when Jeff showed us his signature move: lifting a dumbbell with metal chains attached to it, he made us look like wimps!

Nike Fog Effect

Our goal for the video was to create a cool effect. With the right tools and techniques, we were able to give our video the misty, dark, and grungy look we were hoping for.

Nike Workout

After an intense day of working out, Jeff was getting so pumped and heated from all the heavy lifting that the fire alarms went off! (We actually triggered them off, whoops!) We had a brief chat with the fire marshal, and then got right back to work.

Let’s just say if we saw Jeff or any of the other members of the the gym walking down the street, we’d think twice before messing with them. Those guys are jacked!

GETTING ALL THE ANGLES: VIDEO INTERVIEW SERIES

High end video equipment and a focused group of creative people is what Michael Indresano Photography brought to this multi-day shoot. We worked with corporate executives on a series of interviews. Multiple cameras means multiple perspectives but we never lost sight of the project goal – to make an awesome video.

The famed Sony F55, Sony F5 and their little cousin the Sony FS7 all in attendance at the shoot!

Managing the complexity of a video set means getting everything spot on.

1T5A6679

We also have to get the lighting just right. With a combination of natural light from the full windows in the hallways and some small but powerful LED panels, we were able to achieve it!

1T5A6684

Walking by outside, someone would certainly be curious about what was happening!

Smile for the camera! Using a dolly is always a great way to get some nice, dynamic shots!

1T5A6921

After everything was set up, we had our team member sit in the interviewee chair so we could make our final tweaks and make sure everything was perfect.

Here is a glimpse into the real behind the scenes of a shoot. All the equipment and manpower involved into making a video is quite remarkable. Next time you see a commercial or video, think about all the work and people that come together to create the thing you are watching.

VIDEO PRODUCTION ON THE ROAD IN SAN DIEGO

Recently we went to San Diego for a video production project. It was a lot of early mornings and long days, but we live by the philosophy of work hard, play hard.

Our Production Coordinator sits with some of our equipment we had to bring for the shoot. No room for clothes when back up batteries are more important!

20160209_105645_V2

When we finally arrived in San Diego, we had a few moments to enjoy the warm weather and beautiful scenery before heading off to work!

IMG_1932

Setting up all the cameras and lights took a while, but luckily the sunshine was cooperating with our team.

IMG_1836

We brought in some local talent to conduct the interview, including a professional interviewer as well as some local grips. You can never have enough footage to help make a video look perfect!

IMG_1831

After a hard day’s work, in the evening our crew found some time to enjoy the sunset along the waterfront.

20160210_173940

Working for a studio, they couldn’t help but grab some beautiful shots!

20160210_173647

The work might have been tough and the hours long, but at the end of the trip Our team were all smiles at a job well done!
