BOSTON POLITICS FUNDRAISER VIDEO

Our Boston based video production team created an emotionally strong video for Boston’s very own Mayor Walsh and his team for the recent 2020 Women for Walsh fundraiser. Our superstar production team traveled to multiple locations to interview 7 amazing women who have worked with Mayor Walsh in some capacity over the years.

As a Boston based video production team, we were super excited to travel to Recreo Coffee in West Roxbury for another on location interview. We filmed this interview with Miriam Morales, an impressive female business owner in Boston.

Our production team made the creative decision to shoot the interview in Recreo’s award winning garden, adding a warm and inviting aesthetic to Miriam’s interview.

Our next on location interview was with Cherie Jimenez, the founder of the Eva Center. Cherie’s important work focuses on supporting survivors of sexual exploitation.

We wrapped up Day 1 of this location interview shoot in Hyde Park, speaking with Mickey Cockrell, co-founder of Catie’s closet, another important female led non-profit organization in Boston.

Catie’s Closet, a non-profit organization that provides an in school resource of clothing and toiletries for kids living below the poverty line, has been described as “the mall”. We can totally see why.

Faith Jackson, a longtime supporter of Mayor Walsh and an active member of Boston’s senior community, shared her positive interactions with the Mayor in her interview in her beautiful home.

On day 2 of shooting, our crew traveled to Le Foyer Bakery in Mattapan to interview the owner of the bakery, Edna Etienne. Edna spoke about what it is like to be a woman in business and how Mayor Walsh has worked to help women in business to make the experience a little easier.

Mayor Walsh is very active in the Boys and Girls Club Dorchester, an important organization for kids and families everywhere.

Our team sat down with an impressive young female student named Fatoumata to hear more about her experience with Mayor Walsh, Boston politics, and her experience at the Boys and Girls Club of Dorchester. Fatoumata confirmed that Mayor Walsh is “a really cool guy”.

Fatoumata also spoke about how she was inspired at the 2019 New England Women Leadership Awards when she saw women of color working with Mayor Walsh to run the city.

The final Women for Walsh video also features an interview with another successful and impressive young female named Dominique. Dominique is a graduate of the Building Pathways, a pre apprenticeship program in the construction industry.

Dominique described the benefits she’s received from completing the Building Pathway’s program, including financial stability and independence.

Listening to all these incredible and inspiring stories, the below quote from Mayor Walsh sums it up perfectly.

Our video production team was truly humbled by the incredible response the video received during the virtual fundraising event. Check out some of the comments below.

BOSTON HEALTHCARE VIDEO PRODUCTION

Our most recent on location healthcare video shoot was a big success. Our full service production studio based in Boston created an awesome video highlighting our client’s Urology department. Check out some behind the scenes action below.

Our whole team at Indresano Studios is endlessly grateful to all the medical professionals fighting COVID19 and the above portrait sums it all up perfectly: “Superheroes wear scrubs”

Our in house producer, director, and professional camera operators made sure to capture the top of the line equipment at the hospital to show prospective residents why they should choose the client’s specific program.

We used our studio drone to capture stunning drone video footage of the hospital.

Our DJI Maverick Pro 2 also helped us capture a wide shot of the Hospital’s Emergency entrance to give prospective residents a better idea of the space.

Our video production team made sure to get B-Roll footage of the Urology residents in action throughout their work days. You can see two Urology residents hard at work in the below image.

In the final promotional video, we included strong shots of the tools of the trade to give viewers an inside look at the hospital.

We spent two days capturing B-Roll footage of the medical residents in action at the hospital to make a strong final video.

VIDEO INTERVIEWS IN SAN DIEGO

The cold and snow were too slow to leave Boston, and Indresano team was impatient for warmer weather! So they packed up their gear and went down to sunny San Diego for a video shoot.

Once the crew scouted out the best location, they got right down to business getting all the gear set and ready!

Our Production Coordinator Shannon filled in as the interviewee in order to adjust lighting and sound just right for the videos. But that didn’t stop her from working!

Notice anything about the window frames? Here’s a hint- it involved a lot of taping! We covered the black frames in white in order to create the perfect background for the shot

With everything all ready to go, our professional interviewer got everything underway.

It takes a great crew to film a strong interview!

After two days of prep and filming, our team had just enough time left in San Diego to visit the seals in La Jolla.

Jayna and Shannon even managed to snag a ‘seal’fie with one of them!

GETTING ALL THE ANGLES: VIDEO INTERVIEW SERIES

High end video equipment and a focused group of creative people is what Michael Indresano Photography brought to this multi-day shoot. We worked with corporate executives on a series of interviews. Multiple cameras means multiple perspectives but we never lost sight of the project goal – to make an awesome video.

The famed Sony F55, Sony F5 and their little cousin the Sony FS7 all in attendance at the shoot!

Managing the complexity of a video set means getting everything spot on.

We also have to get the lighting just right. With a combination of natural light from the full windows in the hallways and some small but powerful LED panels, we were able to achieve it!

Walking by outside, someone would certainly be curious about what was happening!

Smile for the camera! Using a dolly is always a great way to get some nice, dynamic shots!

After everything was set up, we had our team member sit in the interviewee chair so we could make our final tweaks and make sure everything was perfect.

Here is a glimpse into the real behind the scenes of a shoot. All the equipment and manpower involved into making a video is quite remarkable. Next time you see a commercial or video, think about all the work and people that come together to create the thing you are watching.
