What better way to combine our strong background in food photography and our skills in CGI than to produce a Donut CGI video? For this CGI animation, we wanted the audience to be taken into an imaginary world we created entirely from Computer Generated Imagery, which gives a nod to classic children’s wonderlands like Candyland or Willy Wonka.
Our decision to focus on donuts we can owe in part to our sugar cravings, but it also was an environment in which we could play with inclusions and complementary foods, similar to how we capture food photography environments on set.
Under our director’s vision, our talented CGI team sketched a storyboard that went through multiple revisions. Once the storyboard was approved, the team worked on an animatic based on 2D drawings which you can see below.
The music was also very important for this project and we wanted something that expressed childlike wonder. The song we ultimately settled on was both catchy and fun for both kids and adults. We know we couldn’t stop humming it during the workday!
The next steps after the animatic involved 3D modeling, lighting, rigging and texturing. You can see some stills from the environment as it started to come together. These stills are from before final texture was added.

We had the opportunity recently to produce a marketing video for Boston Home Inspectors for their website and social media. We created a personable video that captured how this father-and-son business perform home inspections for everyone, spanning from experienced home buyers to first time home buyers. They service Boston and the Greater Boston area.
We did everything from creating the script, putting together a storyboard, interviewing the subjects, to the physical shooting and editing. It was rewarding seeing this video come to life, and how it embodied the loyalty and trust that the company has worked hard to create.
We shot this video over two separate days, capturing B-roll on location and interviewing James, the owner of BHI, and his two sons, Devin and Aidan, at our full-service commercial Studio in South Boston. We wanted to ensure that we illustrated the companyโs mission and what they stood for. We captured the detail, thorough nature, and love that is put into each inspection.
We scouted three locations in advance of the shoot and on the shoot day we had James and his sons do walk throughs of each home, checking the houses for items they would look for on a regular inspection. We were able to capture the inspectors in their natural element this way.
We also deployed a drone to get establishing shots of Boston for the video. Our talented drone operator captured some nice shots of the city from the roof of one of the houses.
It was clear the inspection team was talented and hard working as they took us through their process and shared some fun stories of things they uncovered during their inspections. The inspectors were not afraid to crawl into dark basements or enclosed areas so our crew could capture some cinematic shots!
If youโre a first time home buyer, or are just looking for a home inspection, be sure to check out Boston Home Inspectors! And in the meantime, check out the marketing video below!

Our Boston based photo and video studio specializes in creating eye-catching product photography and product videos. Our latest product shoot features a collection of innovative and beautifully designed office supplies.
—
This particular product photo campaign featured the office supplies in environments to give customers a better idea of how the products will look in real life workplace situations. The below product image features a portable power bank customers can carry in their purse.
—
Working from home has become much more common in the post-Covid corporate world so our creative team made sure to also capture environment images of the products in home settings.
—
Our talented prop stylist kept the props simple and minimalist yet realistic for this commercial product photo shoot. We always make sure the products shine in the final images by using careful art direction, lighting, composition and retouching in all our product photo shoots.
—
We also captured the stunning products on a white background to let the beauty of the products speak for themselves.
—
Our creative team spent quality time composing the best possible group shot for this family of products to show the whole family of products that come together.
—
The products that were shot in real life environments were also shot on white to give the client flexibility in how and where the final images are shown.

Cheers to the start of 2019 with an on location video shoot in Boston! We did everything for this video shoot from pre-production including in house casting, location scouting, creating the video storyboard, to shooting the video footage, and handling all aspects of post production like sourcing and managing the Voice Over artist and editing the final video.

If you’ve been to Indresano Studios, you know we love to create, produce, direct and edit high end and high quality videos in our Boston based studio. In the winter of 2019 we did just that with the below Chanel Ad video. Don’t enter into 2020 without giving it a watch!
Our Boston video production journey took us all over the city in March with the below documentary we created for the Pine Street Inn’s 50th anniversary in 2019. We highly recommend giving it a watch. It was without a doubt the most rewarding and eye-opening video production project we created this year.
—
We added colorful, playful and vibrant additions to our corporate persona photography and corporate persona video portfolios at Indresano Studios this year with a big photo and video campaign for a huge networking event. We shot both video and photo assets in April 2019 for the event in the Fall. Check out some of the final retouched images below!

We continued creating powerful videos in May 2019 for important non-profit organizations like Medicine Wheel. Our very own Michael Indresano was even named “Medicine Wheel Man of the Year” in 2019 for all his generous work with the program. You can see our video about Medicine Wheel’s Hand in Hand program below.
We had a successful lifestyle photography shoot in the studio in June 2019 for a rebranding of a popular healthcare company. We handled all aspects of this healthcare photo shoot from in house casting for over 25 models, sourcing wardrobe, organizing the shoot schedule to shooting and retouching the final images.

If you’ve ever been to our Boston based studio, you would know we are major dog lovers. Needless to say we were very excited when we had a product photo shoot with a dog model in the studio in the summer. 2019 is going to be hard to beat.
—
We created an emotional video interview for a corporate client in 2019. We shot the video on location and told the story of a breast cancer survivor. We were fortunate enough to interview the survivor herself, as well as her friends and family. The final video was played at an international company event in September.
—
We of course had many delicious food photo shoots and ice cream photo shoots in the studio with great clients. We love our clients ๐

In June, Indresano Studios cast a cute canine to be the dog model of a photo shoot for a new cleaning product on the market. Aura, the dog model, took to the staff and space at Indresano Studios right away, and it turns out, she was even more at home on set.
Aura took direction on set well, and followed instructions from her owner like a pro.
It was obvious she relished her new job as a dog model and loved the attention.
This golden gal knows where the toys are. If only she knew where the cleaning products were…
How could you say no to this face?
The day was a success, and Aura’s smile will soon be associated with the brand she’s promoting.
Aura was quite the celebrity even before the photo shoot. You can follow more of Aura’s activities on Instagram at the handle @Aura.the.pup
We are not shy about our love for Black and White photos at Indresano Studios, especially Black and White photography awards. We were honored that we were awarded a Certificate of Achievement for our Bowflex M7 shoot at the 13th annual Black and White Spider Awards and we had to share!
