BEST BOSTON VIDEO PRODUCTION AND COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHY OF 2020

2020 was a year unlike any other in many ways, but especially at our Boston based video production and commercial photography studio. Take a look at just a few highlights from our studio’s video and photography projects in 2020!

We loved having Boston Dynamic’s Spot in our studio for a product reveal photo shoot. New studio pet?!

Our video production crew traveled to a National Grid substation to film a customer storytelling video of Boston Dynamic’s incredible robot Spot in action. Check out the video below!

We used our expertise in product videos to create strong, chic, and informative product videos for Samsonite’s top of the line products.

The 2020 COVID-19 pandemic was undoubtably unexpected, but our team at Indresano Studios looks at every situation through a creative lens. Our dedicated Director and video crew spent multiple days in masks and PPE shooting the empty streets of Boston during the March and April 2020 city wide shutdown. As a full service Boston production studio, we felt inspired to document life in the city during the pandemic. We created the below Empty Streets video using our own footage and audio from Mayor Walsh.

Our Empty Streets video received tons of praise and was shared by Mayor Walsh on his social media accounts including instagram, facebook, and twitter.

Our production team kept busy throughout quarantine, adapted to the unprecedented times, and enforced strict social distancing and safety policies throughout the studio. Our team is endlessly thankful to all the health care workers who made it possible for us to continue working. We were able to work hard on a lot of remote photo and remote video shoots as well as many CGI projects like the Bose CGI video below.

Our in house CGI artists and creative team also created the below video for the Nike Mercurial Superfly 7.

Our team traveled to multiple locations in 2020 for different on location video shoots and on location photo shoots. One of our location shoots took place at a Boston hospital. This healthcare video shoot was a big success.

Our talented team always has an appetite for food photo shoots, especially editorial food photo shoots. Check out some of our favorite food photos from this year.

We kept our creative juices flowing and our taste buds satiated throughout the year with multiple ice cream photo shoots and ice cream video shoots. Check out a few of our favorite editorial ice cream shots below.

On top of all the major world events happening in 2020, it was also a U.S election year. Our creative team put our video skills to use to create a video encouraging people to get out and VOTE in the presidential election. We are happy we have the video tools, editing knowledge, and creative vision to help promote the vote.

Our video team also used our skills to create a powerful fundraising video for a virtual fundraiser for the Women for Walsh campaign.

2020 was a crazy and unprecedented year, but our production team at Indresano Studios has proven we can take on any challenge with creativity, composure and style. We cannot wait to see what 2021 has in store for us!

PINE STREET INN VIDEO

2019 marks the 50th anniversary of the Pine Street Inn, one of Boston’s largest providers of shelter and support for the city’s homeless population. In recognition of this milestone, and to give back to the community, we here at Indresano Studios have embarked on a documentary project with the Pine Street Inn in an effort to highlight the important work the Pine Street Inn provides to the city of Boston. The goals of this project are to give voice to Boston’s homeless community and to spread awareness of the resources still needed to support and re-house the city’s homeless population.

The team’s first objective was to collect stories. The most effective way to humanize the issue of homelessness is to spread personal stories, experiences, and words.

The Indresano Studios team strategizes how to best capture these personal stories

Our team had the opportunity to interview three homeless men, John, Ray, and Jamil, on the first day of the shoot. In the interviews, our team learned details about each man’s past that led them to homelessness, their struggles to find housing and their hopes and goals for the future.

The team’s 4th interview of the day was with Nelson, the director of the Pine Street Inn’s Outreach Program. The Pine Street Inn has multiple vans traveling Boston 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to help bring the Pine Street Inn’s support to people in need, rather than leaving them on their own to secure transportation to the shelter.

Our team also had the distinct privilege of accompanying the outreach team on a particularly snowy night. Members of the outreach team supplied blankets, hot food, and other forms of support to members of Boston’s homeless community.

As this project progresses, we hope to bring further updates to our readers. For now, it’s back to work on the Pine Street Inn’s 50th anniversary video!
