Welcome to our newly renovated prop room! With a space the size of a small studio apartment- 18 x 24 ft (432 sq. ft)- we have plenty of room for our huge collection of props ūüôā What more could a food photographer want?

We’ve updated and organized our large plate selection to accommodate any food imaginable. For a studio that loves food photography as much as we do, this prop room is a dream come true.

Ice cream bowl? Check. Soup bowl? Check. Coin bowl? Check. You name it, we’ve got the right bowl for you. It’s truly an oasis for a food photographer :p

We created an efficient system to arrange our platters, dishes, vases, mason jars, glasses, silveware, and so much more. Clients can see and access what we have available by simply visiting the prop room- in person or digitally!

Color coded and perfectly folded fabrics make us happy ūüôā¬†Our newly updated system lets clients find what they need quickly and effortlessly. We’ve digitally archived all of our props so clients can pick exactly what they want before even coming to the studio!

Beautiful china such as these deserves a nice place to call home and we are happy to have built it.

With all these dishes, we might need to have a dinner party soon :p

We also have wooden surfaces, metal surfaces, all kinds of background options, and many more props not seen here. With all these props, we can create any set imaginable!

If you have any questions about what we have in stock, please give us a call and we’d be happy to send over some images of our extended collection.

The Indresano team has always prided itself on using only the latest and greatest photographic technology. To prove it, we’d like to introduce you to the Hasselblad H6D-100c.

The Hasselblad H6D represents the pinnacle of photographic quality, clarity, sharpness and depth. It comes equipped with a whopping 100-megapixel sensor.

Image of Hasselbald H6D-100C

Because of this, we get files more than twice the size of images from the industry’s leading DSLR cameras like the Canon 5Ds and Nikon D810. We are ecstatic to have this heavy hitter in our studio!

In addition to being tremendously beautiful, the H6D produces 605 MB 16-Bit files. This gives us an unprecedented amount of information to work with in post-production.

The Hasselblad’s leaf shutter system allows us to use much faster flash speeds than ANY¬†mainstream DSLR. This helps us to¬†freeze liquids, explosions, and anything else we can think of with perfect clarity.

On top of everything listed here, the H6D-100C is capable of capturing UHD 4K video. At long last, our team¬†can shoot 4K video with Hasselblad’s legendary optics. The H6D produces some of the cleanest looking 4K footage we’ve ever seen.

Technical limitations have never hindered the creativity of our team. The question is, what ideas will you bring to the table so that we can help bring them to life?

Annual Medicine Wheel Gala

Wednesday June 15th, 2016
6:00pm-9:00pm at the Rooftop of the Taj

2015 was quite a year for us here at the studio! From exciting photo and video projects to awards we were honored to win, we have a lot to be thankful for! Here are some of our favorite memories:

Early in the year, we were still working on finalizing and putting out two exciting video projects. The first was the Seapoint Estate video, where we highlighted a beautiful ocean side mansion.

Michael preparing for some beautiful drone video shots.

Another project we finished up was a TV commercial to help promote the Pine Street Inn, a local homeless shelter in Boston. It was exciting to see our work air on Channel 5!

Even though the weather was poor, our spirits remained high!

We also finished up a video helping showcase the non-profit Medicine Wheel and their goal of installing a paved path connecting the Boston National Historical Park.

When Obama came to Boston to open the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States in honor of the late Ted Kennedy, we all enjoyed reminiscing on when Michael photographed Ted Kennedy in 1995.

In April, Michael was honored to be highlighted in Boston.com for his constant philanthropic work for the community and his help for local charities to increase their support and donations.

In May, Governor Charlie Baker and Lieutenant Governor Karyn Polito came to the studio to be photographed for the cover of Scene Magazine. We were all so excited they took the time from their busy schedule to get their portraits taken!

Over the summer, we got started on some exciting video projects, starting with a video and photoshoot featuring Boston Bruin’s goal keeper Tuukka Rask.

While on set shooting Tuukka Rask for Franklin Sports, some of the kids practices their floor hockey slap shots on Raask

Next, we worked on some some dramatic close-up filming and photography showcasing the beauty of the new iRobot product.

We also helped to promote one of Medicine Wheel’s other endeavors, Hand in Hand. The program helps to promote communication and understanding between police officers¬†and young adults.

Using a dolly and a lot of patience, we worked tirelessly to capture the beauty of Circle Furniture.

We wrapped up a fun summer of video projects with a video highlighting the beauty of Louis Vuitton

By the fall, the award announcements began to come in, and we were honored with 4 Merit Award from Graphis Competitions for our food photography work with Baskin Robbins!

We also were honored with two nominations for the international Black and White Spider Awards in the categories Nude Photography and Advertising Photography

The fun continued when we filmed the Mayo Bowl hosted by New England Patriots Defensive Captain Jerod Mayo. It was a lot of work but we made some time for meeting some of the Patriots team, including Tom Brady, Danny Amendola, Chandler Jones and Julian Edelman!

The weather outside might not scream Christmas, but our studio sure does! We have ‘decked our halls’ in Christmas decoration!

We invite you (and Santa!) in from the bustling streets to see our Christmas Wonderland.

Stapleton Floral Design set up our amazing outdoor decorations. They really went above and beyond by surprising us with our own glowing logo!

All who visit are greeted by our life sized Nutcracker.

What Christmas is complete without a tree?

Lastly, add the finishing touches of poinsettias and wreaths to complete the Christmas transformation!

Merry Christmas from our studio to you!

Here’s hoping there’s no turkey disasters in the kitchen! Hope everyone has a fun and safe Thanksgiving!

It was a big day in Boston today – President Barack Obama made a quick visit¬†to Massachusetts to celebrate the opening of the¬†Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate.¬†The institute is located on the UMass Boston¬†campus, right next to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library. President Obama and Joe Biden were among the distinguished¬†guests honoring the late Kennedy’s legacy who passed away in 2009. Michael had the pleasure of meeting and photographing Senator Ted Kennedy back in 1995 right at the beginning of his photography career. See the photo and thank you letter Michael received from the Senator¬†below!

In the hustle and bustle of holiday activities, we invite you to take a pause and reflect on the meaning of home. As those less fortunate than ourselves struggle to find shelter this holiday season, we are reminded that charitable work is like the beacon that guides us back to that place of warmth, compassion, and love. Michael Indresano Photography has joined with Pine Street Inn, the leader in the fight against homelessness, to carry on the mission of hope. The moral address in us is a place we can all call home.

Here are some more of our favorite behind-the-scenes photo opps from 2012.  We hope you enjoy, and we look forward to capturing even more fun moments on set in 2013.  Happy new year, everyone!

Our 2012 interns learned a lot (while having some fun!) in the studio this year.  Thanks Elise, Anthony, and Allie for all your help!
