GRONK TIME: NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS ROB GRONKOWSKI PHOTOSHOOT

As the football season kicked off, the Indresano team was excited to kick off a new project with New England Patriots Rob ‘Gronk’ Gronkowski for his latest brand partnership with Brookstone- the GronkBall!

If you’re sad you missed it, don’t worry! We captured some behind the scenes shots of the fun football filled day so you can relive it with us.

As usual, Michael was completely focused on getting the shot just right.

Even Rob Gronkowski needs a little wardrobe styling! Thankfully Coleen from TEAM Artists was on hand to make everything perfectly camera ready. ūüôā

Gronk came prepared with many poses and was working the camera the whole shoot. Here’s a little sneak peak at one our personal favorite faces from the Patriots player!

Gronkowski screams summer ready in this shot. We would love to have a day at the beach with the fun and lovable Gronk!

As the team reviewed the shots, Patriots player Gronkowski just had to test his new product. Can you guess who Gronk was playing catch with on set?

If you guessed our Production Coordinator Shannon then you were correct! She couldn’t pass up the chance to play catch with the all-star¬†New England Patriots tight end!

FESTIVE FANS: MODEL AND APPAREL PHOTOSHOOT

Santa knows what the Indresano team loves- a jam-packed day of apparel and model photography! This festive shoot for the winter was certainly full of excitement- and lots of fun lights! Check out some behind the scenes of shots like this one below:

Chicago Cubs, MLB, 47 Brand

With a shoot like this, more variety is better! We had a set builder design and construct two 8 foot by 8-foot backgrounds to use during the shoot.

The builder carefully burned one background to provide a unique texture and rustic feel to the set.

After we set up the¬†backgrounds, our set stylist went to work making them into fully decked out environments- down to the last plant arrangement. ūüôā

We started the day out without models, and so for the apparel shots we got in a bit closer to really play with the props and lighting.

Looks like Raider’s fans are getting a little more than coal in their stocking this year! It was so much fun to play with the textures in this shot.

As they say, a good wardrobe stylist always bring 3 times as much as you need! With racks lining the entire hall, that was definitely the case for this shoot.

As we started working with the models, everyone had to make sure the composition of the shot looked correct. The downtime, while everyone is reviewing, is the perfect time for a quick makeup check!

After a quick touch up, the models are back on set and getting playful to show off the products.

Our prop stylist worked to carefully wrap the lights around a skull for one of the more intricate hero shots of the day.

The final result of the skull looked perfect, and our model helped create the perfect frame for the shot.

FOOD PHOTOGRAPHY FOR IMPROPER BOSTONIAN COVER SHOOT

We had a blast capturing some food photography for Improper Bostonian’s Fall Dining issue cover! We’re always happy to have an excuse to have some fresh pasta in the studio ūüôā

The combination of fresh ravioli and a good quality camera is an Italian photographer’s dream come true!

It was such a treat to have our longtime friend John Carafoli as the food stylist for this shoot. He is so talented!

Here is a quick glimpse of the beginning stages of making fresh pasta.

John worked his magic to create delicious pasta! It takes a lot of time, patience, diligence, and intense attention to detail, but the end results are so worth it.

We went to great heights to capture the detailed texture of the delicious pasta. An overhead shot allowed us to showcase John’s final creation in the best way!

We used red, green, and natural pasta to create an edible Italian flag. Who says you shouldn’t play with your food? ūüėČ

VIDEO PRODUCTION FOR SEAPOINT ESTATE

We had a blast handling all aspects of pre-production, shooting, editing, and producing the final video showcasing the magnificent Seapoint Estate!

A special thank you to Robert Kinlin for his kind words and a big congratulations on the successful sale of the magnificent Seapoint Estate! We are so grateful to have gotten to handle the video production for this project.

“Michael Indresano’s reputation for quality, perfection, and excellence made him the ideal person for this job. Only someone of his caliber could capture the fine craftsmanship, high quality, and sheer beauty of the Seapoint Estate. The video the Indresano team produced played an important role in displaying the magnificent¬† Estate. It was a pleasure working with Michael and his¬†team.” ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬†-Robert Kinlin, Owner and Founder of Robert Paul Properties

Not only did we handle the shooting – including using drones for overhead shots – but we also took care of wardrobe, hair, makeup, casting, audio, lighting, and so much more. You name it, we did it! Here is a glimpse behind the scenes of this video production.

Our drone helped capture a breathtaking view of Sherry Spinale from Maggie Inc. running through the estate’s gorgeous green yard.

Of course we had to snap a quick picture of the amazing views. The sunsets at Seapoint Estate are unparalleled! It is the ideal location for a video production team.

We are so grateful to have been given the opportunity to produce a video of this incredible property. Check it out below!

A FOOD PHOTOGRAPHER’S DREAM COME TRUE: NEWLY RENOVATED PROP ROOM

Welcome to our newly renovated prop room! With a space the size of a small studio apartment- 18 x 24 ft (432 sq. ft)- we have plenty of room for our huge collection of props ūüôā What more could a food photographer want?

We’ve updated and organized our large plate selection to accommodate any food imaginable. For a studio that loves food photography as much as we do, this prop room is a dream come true.

Ice cream bowl? Check. Soup bowl? Check. Coin bowl? Check. You name it, we’ve got the right bowl for you. It’s truly an oasis for a food photographer :p

We created an efficient system to arrange our platters, dishes, vases, mason jars, glasses, silveware, and so much more. Clients can see and access what we have available by simply visiting the prop room- in person or digitally!

Color coded and perfectly folded fabrics make us happy ūüôā¬†Our newly updated system lets clients find what they need quickly and effortlessly. We’ve digitally archived all of our props so clients can pick exactly what they want before even coming to the studio!

Beautiful china such as these deserves a nice place to call home and we are happy to have built it.

With all these dishes, we might need to have a dinner party soon :p

We also have wooden surfaces, metal surfaces, all kinds of background options, and many more props not seen here. With all these props, we can create any set imaginable!

If you have any questions about what we have in stock, please give us a call and we’d be happy to send over some images of our extended collection.

HAZY DAYS: VIDEO AND PHOTOSHOOT WITH COLORED SMOKE

We always love a client that comes to us with a new approach, and this Limited Release Timberland photography and video shoot was exactly that. What better way to showcase a purple boot than with beautiful photo smoke!

When shooting photo and video with colored smoke, it’s important to be in a well ventilated area. And what’s more ventilated than shooting outside! We built our own little set right in our parking lot, which certainly had heads turing on the sidewalk.

While overcast skies can be great for lighting, the Sony camera is not a fan of the possible rain that comes along with it. Fortunately, our team created the perfect umbrella attachment to keep the Sony dry and happy!

The team worked with the shifting winds in order to capture the perfect shot of the smoke engulfing the boot. We ended up with some truly amazing images and video clips.

Close up, you can see the colors blending right at the point of ignition before billowing out in the wind. The saturation and movement of the smoke amazed us, it was almost like ink in water!

To help balance out some of the red in the smoke, we counteracted it with a blue light, leading to the perfect shade of purple.

After covering the block in a faint purple haze, it was time to edit! The goal was a seamlessly looped video, and our client was impressed with what we put together. Check it out below!

A TOTALLY FUN DAY: TOTAL WIRELESS PHOTO AND VIDEO SHOOT

We recently worked on a new campaign of images and GIFs, and we knew immediately we were in for an exciting time at the studio. With two sets for a photo and video shoot, seven models and stylists, it was a packed house full of fun! Check out more below.

We started the morning off right with the energetic Courtland. With so many different models coming in overlapping times throughout the day, it was great to start the day on a high note.

When having both a photography and video shoot in a day, you need to streamline everything as much as possible. We worked seamlessly with our team to get both a photography and green screen video set in side by side.

Hair and makeup artist Alexandra from TEAM helped make sure Gabi, the model, was looking her best on both sets!

Hiding behind the racks, you can see a glimpse our wardrobe/prop stylist Coleen, also from TEAM, hard at work. She shopped for all seven models and the different props needed for the shoot- talk about shopping ’til you drop!

The high energy start to the shoot continued throughout the entire day¬†. Just look at this excitement! It’s safe to say we had a totally awesome day with Total Wireless!

NEW ANGLES: PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEOGRAPHY SHOOT

Our team always enjoys a chance to capture things from a new angle, and a recent photography and videography project for Mimecast was just the opportunity!

Our client’s aim was to capture models in a moment of ‘falling’ in to a vortex, and we think these models nailed it!

The shoot certainly required a lot of core strength from our models. To help a little, we rigged a second stool as a smaller backrest. When you have to be filmed leaning back for minutes at a time, a little support can go a long way!

Our models still got a good ab workout during this shoot!

Thanks to our video monitor, we were able to catch wardrobe stylist Coleen and hair and make up artist Maryelle in action from a whole new vantage point!

Our photo assistant Abby couldn’t help but have some fun while testing out our set!

After wrapping on a successful and fun day of video and photography, we all wanted to see if we could have been models for the shoot. What do you think?

Check out one of the final videos below!
