We had a blast capturing some food photography for Improper Bostonian’s Fall Dining issue cover! We’re always happy to have an excuse to have some fresh pasta in the studio 🙂
The combination of fresh ravioli and a good quality camera is an Italian photographer’s dream come true!
It was such a treat to have our longtime friend John Carafoli as the food stylist for this shoot. He is so talented!
Here is a quick glimpse of the beginning stages of making fresh pasta.
John worked his magic to create delicious pasta! It takes a lot of time, patience, diligence, and intense attention to detail, but the end results are so worth it.
We went to great heights to capture the detailed texture of the delicious pasta. An overhead shot allowed us to showcase John’s final creation in the best way!
We used red, green, and natural pasta to create an edible Italian flag. Who says you shouldn’t play with your food? 😉

We are happy to announce that we were recognized in the 12th annual Black and White Spider Awards. The judges awarded us an Honorable Mention in the Advertising category for our Hasselblad H6D image.
The contest featured 8,120 entries from photographers in 74 countries around the world. Imagine how excited we were to find out that the notable judges for the contest chose us along with some of the top names in the industry!

We were so excited to discover we were honored at the 57th Annual Hatch Awards the that we just had to share! The video, Transformative Appetite, won bronze for the Digital: Video Long Form Single Entry.
It was a very exciting collaboration between our studio and the MIT Media Lab team. After a week of shooting in our studio well as on location, countless hours of editing and color grading, and the production of custom music and sound effects, we couldn’t be happier with the results!
